However i feel Coro's best chance to win is by winning the toss and bowling.

I understand Batting first in finals is generally imperative to a flag. However there a number of things that lead me to having Coro bowling first.

Coro did a great job last week defending and see no reason why they would change it in a Grand final . Be positive bat first and get the runs on the board ... defend it with everything and who knows the cricket gods might be on your side this year ! After watching last week kind of hoping you guys finally get one .....Good luck

Back to the Cove today for gripping conclusion to the 2013 grand final.
Win or lose, it would be great to the Coro boys come out of the trees and have some afternoon tea (supplied) and a beer perhaps.
Their performance made to look worse by crawling off the opposite site of the oval at every break.
Keep your head up and come have a drink (three Cheeks inc)
Good luck to all.

Hopefully they don't get bowled out for 50 odd a third time in the finals against Cove.

I don't see the point of playing on today for Coro. It will make it look like they didn't give up but realistically there is no chance they will win from the position.

It seems Onkaparinga Council are rolling out new pricing structures for the lease of their ovals. $100 per saturday and $50 per training night. Given our club has senior and juniors that train over 3 nights and play on both saturday and sunday we are looking at a bill close to $9k including preseason. I've seen reports that ICC are suffering the same fate. Are there any other clubs that have received a new lease renewal along these lines? It will be impossible for clubs to survive with these costs.

After dealing with councils for many years I have formed the opinion that Onka Council are the most incompetent bunch of big heads in any organisation I've come across. Time for a clean out...

We don't deal directly with the council at our club it is done through the Western Youth Centre but that sort of pricing is crazy. If their aim is to drive out local sporting organisations then they will achieve that but surely that can't be what their aim is!

Come on guys entertain me . Any news or gossip floating around doesn't even have to be true .Ill start it I reckon if the news is correct of both Cheek lads and Brucey going to play district as well as Joshy Lourens retiring are true they better build a bigger fence on that road side of the ground. I am not sure who else they will have to bowl maybe Koala will actually be handy for climbing trees to fetch balls ;)
