Tips for semi finals this week

A1
Pooraka v Para hills - full strength pooraka batting too strong for para hills spin attack.

PAOC v Payneham - PAOC too strong at home.

A2
Walkerville v Hope Valley - Walkerville best team all year but Hope Valley on a roll. Walkerville bowlers important as Hope Valley have three key batsmen.

Reynella v Ingle Farm - hard game to call, batting strength for both teams, toss very important runs on the board in a final.

A3
Fulham v Penfield - Falcons too strong had a good year

Flinders Park v Goodwood - Flinders Park in a tight one and into GF for western suburbs derby.

Great effort by Para Hills to reach an A1 final. Have slowly worked their way up the grades. Well run club, good facilities. Coach is an SA cricket legend!

Judging purely on Hectorville winning club of the year, you would have to say it is not performance based.

A2-5th
B2-6th
C2-8th
U17-6th
U15-2nd

Walkerville have plenty of batsmen who can rip bowlers apart. If Pannach doesn't take a bag, they could be looking at a huge total to chase. Plus Walkerville's pitch is disgraceful. Heard it was damp last week. Massive advantage for them playing at that place, considering the Curator plays for them. Will be a huge upset if Reynella can get up.

We played there in a 20/20 just after Xmas and the pitch was an absolute disgrace. Most of their square was horrible and looked like it needed a lot of love. I'm very glad I don't have to play there every second game.

Disagree. I think Reynella are right in this game. Pannach is a very good bowler, but the 3 young seamers that back him up, Tugwell, Rabbett & Kuerschner, are all bowling well and they are a very good fielding team with an experienced captain. I cannot see the Walkerville bats dominating this game. Reynella's batting is a little shallow and they rely heavily on Gabb, Colville & Hopkins. Don't be surprised if Hoppy goes big this weekend. Square at Walkerville is horrible, so unfortunately it will probably come down to whoever wins the toss.

Because they are used to playing on it every 2nd game.
