Dublin with another big score against Angle Vale today. Looks like L.Woods showed his class.

Woods 80
B. Barker 63
L. Goss quickfire 44
R. Barker 23 before bring run out

Strong batting side, I probably did have them a tad low in my prediction

I’m hearing rumours Dublin has a money tree planted behind the clubhouse for all of the recruits

Good luck to them if that’s what they choose to do.

Getting a decent list of players who have played out there, Troy Scott then John McInnes last year, a few more that escape me atm.

Gee, Nathan Warren went at 6 per over against North Pines, collected 4 wickets along the way though, does anyone know why he bowls so late or do they just not list the bowlers in order?

Virginia 4/61 chasing the Pines' 265, you'd think the home side is safe but you watch Nato or Secca's ton up and save the day.

Evenly poised at the Gaol too, NEK 193, Gardens 2/53 in reply, need to get Taylor out early next week.

Dublin with a decent score on the board, I see they've added Jordan Furner to their squad.

Para Vista play at the gaol.. NEK play at Greenacres reserve - it's small and fast, 193 is under par.

The Virgina NP would be a cracker game for the neutrals. Two teams just batting to score runs fast, class on both sides.

There one dayer will be a classic.

Darren ‘Knoxy’ Knox has called it a day

Absolute legend of para districts. I feel privileged to have played around ten years with the bloke and had the pleasure of opening with him on many occasions.

Made every bowler earn his wicket and epitomised the tough and heart that made para districts the hard competition it is

Para districts is poorer for his retirement

I shall park back in my garage.

The Units line up looked a tad depleted, I was told that one of the ER girls wasn't playing this season but her name is on the list this week.

Their B's won't lose a game.

North Pines have 3 teams, good work.

Eyre Royals B grade should be in the Grade 1 comp, but Sweaty is obsessed with winning women's flags and would rather bully up sides.

Whether it was deliberate recruiting or not their batting line up looks amazingly balanced to do really well.

Hart is a solid determined opener.
The Barker Boys are quality proper batsmen who will look to build an innings and bat 70 overs, will protect their middler/ lower order from the new ball
Woods is a gun who naturally bats aggressively
Gossy is your perfect 7-8 to be used late in the innings in a 2 dayer and wherever required in a one dayer.

No umpire Week 1. Week 2 they send in an over officious umpire who proceeded to call every debatable No ball I hear.

Surely an umpire can not be introduced mid game? Especially if they hold a vastly different interpretation to the rules the club umpire had in Innings 1.

ER will dominate Grade 1 and 2. I would have thought the 2 best teams would want to test each other out, obviously not.

How the hell can you appoint an umpire halfway through a game?!? That's laughable!

100% agree - the two best sides should be in the same division competing against each other... but they wont because it means they cant win 2x women's flags.

Eyre Royals is a women's cricket club with a Men's program.
