Sounds to me like the footy club doesn't give the cricketers much support!

Hire out the club to private functions every other week, make them leave before 6pm and then wonder why the cricketers don't support the club over the bar on a Saturday night..

I know the Seaton captain had to fight tooth and nail with the footy club to get any support this season.

I heard the footy club had bagged the oval for the weekend of the cricket GF, is that right? So are Seaton hosting the cricket GF or are they away, or are they meant to be hosting but will now play away?

Seaton are away for the GF - they finished 2nd, will play in the city against the Desi Avengers who finished top.

Seaton are away for the GF - they finished 2nd, will play in the city against the Desi Avengers who finished top.

The pitch would have had sand on it on the Friday night for a footy trial the day after, so yes, would have been.

Should Enfield manage to get up Saturday, it'll be the first A grade premiership since Paul Johnson's 1983/94 side recorded victory over Enfield Lutheran.

It'll be the first Division 1 premiership for the club since life member Kel Watson captained Enfield to success over Grote Street in 1963/64.. it was also the same season South Australia broke an 11 year drought in winning the Sheffield Shield.
