But you see they can wear a black cap, like your mob SS, because your team dont have the same long and distinguished history as the 'real reds' Lol.

I say this not knowing much about Loxtons history.

The only thing that annoys me about Waikerie's hats is the way Kym Taylor wears his. Lol. Juuussst of centre.

Everyone has made some good points here and it's not the end of the world, but (and I'm not biased at all) there was no real need for Waikerie to change their hat to a basically all red one, when their colours are red, black and white. There are any number of any things they could have done to differentiate themselves, considering there were only 5 (with the weak Renmark blokes) teams in the comp.

All the hats should have something unique about them, as a way to identify their club, and this should even be possible in a big comp (I believe all 16 AFL teams have different colours). The coloured uniforms in one day matches has certainly done this for us, but we will be wearing whites again soon enough when we finally start playing the real cricket!

Good suggestion by the way 'RB'. We might just take that on board and start calling ourselves the Real Reds. Clever. ;) SS, why don't you go and write about Taylor's hat angle in Viewtube next time you are playing against Waikerie if it irks you so much!
