SCA has to survive in this area.

Yep, got some beauties from down there. They are all favourites of mine, even the couple you mentioned that didn't go on with it. (Matty Overall, what a champ !!)
Still need to keep local cricket in the SCA area though ---- two reasons-- we've got some gems from there as well (especially Flagstaff, Noarlunga and Reynella) --- also we need somewhere local for kids to develop, and for those who don't get into SACA cricket.

Is it really that far to drive down to victor or goolwa to play cricket two or three times a year because willunga, mclaren vale, compass and aldinga are not much further than seaford, kangarilla. I think the competition would much better for everyone with a merged league.

as a GSCA man i think that you blokes need to try and fix the SCA not just run away from the problem when things get hard. southern is a massive part of cricket in this state and HAS TO STAY ALIVE AND WELL for alot of different reasons

i agree you guys should rebuild. I cant believe the teams are struggling with the population pool you have.

give some credit to the McLaren, Aldinga Willunga offer, even if it is for a few years untill you have rebuilt.

will the SACA allow the SCA to fall apart or will they step in.
premierships is what it is all about

Yes indeed. ----- SACA has a man charged with the task of keeping cricket alive and well in the Stingray area. They will certainly take a strong interest in any sign of collapse.

Forgive my ignorance, but why is the SCA on verge of collapse?

The feeling is there is not enough teams to make the competition viable if any other teams fold or leave the SCA...

Reynella have gone to Adelaide Turf...

Sullies and Hackham have both folded...

Those three teams not playing in the SCA have made the competition weaker...
