Surely not!,
A coach leads the behaviour standard as a figure head of the club, not a good look if multiple reports have occurred in one season for 1 person.
Sturt coach reported this season
Captains reported

SACA clamped down on threshold or all reported have gone way over the top??
PC office lost control of the competition??

16 overs were bowled by Kensington in the first 90 minutes on Sunday.

If they continued that over rate for a full day, they’d bowl 63 overs - 33 overs less than the 96 required.

Any investigation into that?

During the regular season (Rounds 1 to 13). The penalties for slow over rates are pretty poor. A penalty of 25 runs in the teams "Runs for" on the premiership table for every over short in the over rate. So if you are 2 overs down at the end of an innings. 50 runs are deducted and your quotient rate is affected. No Team/Player/Captain caress about it. Which is why so many games this season for example, were finishing 6 30pm or later. I heard Northern Districts were 11 overs down in the Over rate in one game and play ended at 6:30pm when the umpires had had enough and just walked off the field.

In the Finals: there are ZERO over rate penalties. The Premier Cricket Committee voted many years ago not to have penalties in finals.
For the umpires on field, there is always the chance of them enforcing "deliberate time wasting" in the laws of cricket where a warning is given and then either penalty runs are given or a bowler is suspended from bowling for the remainder of the innings.

There will be no investigation into the slow play because it has been happening all season, and no-one in charge of the game actually cares

Anyone see Cam Valente's speech last night? I just happened to jump on the feed just as he was getting up there. Quite humorous. Opened by joking "I should still be playing for the Redbacks." Hooky asked him what drew him to Port Adelaide and Cam said there'd been a bunch of rumours about it but that the $60k had had nothing to do with it

1. Why take the tea break?
2. Why not play until it’s too dark?
3. Why could play go on next door on the D Grade oval and the umpires go off in the 1st Grade?

Kensington deserve to go through thanks to finishing top, but a combination of the laws and interpretation of the laws, as well as the weather, has ruined this semi final.

Number 3 is quite easy to answer really.
At the lower levels the bowlers don't bowl quite as quick, don't have as long run ups and don't have the same issue with footing as 1st graders do. (Compare a Jordan Buckingham to a 4th grade bowler) Also as a general rule no covers (either at all or if they do, it's a cover that literally just covers the pitch and not surrounds) so If you stop playing at lower levels, chances of getting back on are slim to none.

Plus 1st graders whinge a lot more about nothing. :o

A grade GF this weekend, how's the weather forecast looking?

Who wins, and why?

Kensi look to be at full strength, or at least close to, only D Grant missing with injury, I think.

Do Uni have the bowling to take care of the Browns, particularly on the road at KR?

I will tune into Frogbox at various times over the weekend.

No rain forecast. Cloudy Saturday. I think the ball will swing. It is mid 60's humidity today.

Kensington were convincing minor premiers. At home. Can't go past them.

I wont see any of it Saturday but most likely go Sunday for a social can or two.

The games at Karen Rolton, Doc. But I'd say you'd be welcome for a can or two at Parky post game.

Yep, no home ground advantage, but if a draw they get the Premiership. Think they be too good, be great send off for Jake Brown. Uni playing funny buggers or rolling the dice in naming/playing Bosisto. Been out a long time with hand injury, not sure how much training he been able to do, but may be an unlucky player to miss (Thomas Brown - spinner - maybe?). Weather be cool, but fine. Hope Frogbox has no issue and we can watch if cant make it there live.

Interesting the Victorian Premier Cricket final started today, played over 3 days. They are so far advanced on our comp, the Frogbox working great, My Cricket working, can watch the replays of wickets, etc. Hope we get back to that next year as been disgraceful this season

Flatfoot Matchett to be Man of the Match, before walking out on the Club to play for SACA U19 in Division 2 next season.

Browns win the toss and invite Uni to have a bat.

Uni 1/4. Wicket to Thornton.

They don't use PlayHQ for scoring over there yet so that would help with the MyCricket side of things.

I just tuned in, Kensington 2/11
Just looking at the scores on MyCricket and interesting to see Uni's opening bowler Yadav has only played the second half of the season starting in the D Grade and has gone up every Grade to A Grade.
