Brahma Lodges CC Scoreboard is probably as old as the club, and frankly embarrassing

We need a new one!

Has anyone made one before?

Bought one?

Any help would be great..

You can make your own easily.

Purchase the number modules for $25 each from cricket centre then mount them on your own backing board.

Or even buy the whole thing pre made from them. $4300 for an electronic one if you have the cash....

It depends on how much info you want on them really.
Our club has overs, runs & wickets.
We made our own, painted it in club colors, bought the numbers & can be seen for quite a distance. It my case, from the balcony of my house across the other side of the oval.

We copied Morphies this year and it cost us $140 to make (we use the same numbers that the footy club use so they didnt cost us anything)

Only took me a half a day to make (had to add 2x extra trips to bunnings to get more supplies coz I'm not 1 bit handy)

For the same thing you'd expect to pay about $600-$800

Scoreboards are a rip off.

+1

All batsmen should be counting their own runs and team total in the middle, and every fielding team should have 1 player who's job it is is to keep track of the total.

Para Hills have got a good one. It's a metal/magnets type set up so never breaks.

The problem with those plastic ones is that the slots are forever breaking.
