Jim West was ill recently - does anyone know how he is at present, if he is recovering or has recovered, and what he is doing with himself these days?

I am indeed a nincompoop. It was Mark West runnig for federal government, not Jim.
btw - If he is unwell, then let's hope he recovers fully and quickly.

aaahhh the illustrious Mark West, running into an open goal in the 97 prelim, a goal would have sent the Bulldogs into their first gf in 371289371289371289 years, misses and well...the rest is history...

				Wouldn't have mattered.
The goal umpire would have called it a point anyway, just like the Libba one which was allegedly in by a metre

Jeepers Jim would be getting on.
I played with him at school and he must have been at least 3 years older than me so what would he be 41+???

Actually i seem to recall Jim West missing a goal from edge of goalsquare in 88 GF, Bays had the momentum at that stage, was a crucial miss

I remember Darren Jarman showing him the footy in the 3rd quarter of the 87 GF. As he spun away from West, running toward goal he quickly held the ball right in front of West's face before running off!

LOL - loved Blankety Blanks ... according to Gra-Gra, here in Perth it has just ticked over to 1986 - good, that means "It's A Knockout" is on soon!
