Phil Carmen was super fit for his time and was a champion. Phil Gallagher had mesmerising skills and was brilliant to watch. Macca and Turbill for shear guts. If I had to choose one I guess it would be Carmen when in full flight.

Is this another thread to entice back Adelaide Hawk?

I vaguely remember Carman as a small kid, so I will go for him. Surprised I haven't seen McIntosh yet - if he had gone to Victoria he would have had the career of his contemporaries who did go.

Edit: I didn't see "Macca" referenced in the post above.

No votes for JASON MILLAR?

From the rest...

MICHAEL AISH.

He was that good I can even forgive him for his dummy spit after Port were granted the second AFL licence in 1994.

But not for the five goals he kicked while playing with a broken hand in the 1987 Qualifying Final.

Are you serious Mal, great coach but did very little for Norwood as a player.

Anthony Harvey & Robbie Neill would have to be two of our best recent(ish) recruits ... Staz would have to be an option for the FB position, as would Jimmy Thiele and Bruce Winter.

My old man still believes John Marriott is the best he saw in the Red and Blue, although he believes Carmen is right there with him.

My best in order would be Macca, Aish, Roberts, Thomas, Taylor ... Young Tony Francis would have been a star if we'd had him for longer (although all clubs can say that about several players).

In my time of watching football regularly Aish just edges out McIntosh for me. Some of the things Aish did simply defied belief.

I know I can speak for Booney in saying that Aishy was his all time Norwood favourite. Couldn't stop talking about him. Reminded me of how mal carries on about KP.

Started watching Norwood in 1976: McIntosh clearly for mine. Without disrespect to Michael Aish or Kingo Taylor.

Macca
then Aish

Lesser known players include Richard Anderson, James Pyke, and Jerry D'Antochia.

Two of our best recruits in the 15 yrs would be Troy Clements and Todd Davey.
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.
