Rest in peace, Sneezer.

Didn't know he was ill. I'll remember him as one of the greats of the Panthers in the 80s. Also sought success with Gary Christie in 1988 at the Bay.

Absolutely devastated. A great Glenelg man as a player, runner, coach and football manager. I’ll remember him as some who gave to individuals so they could grow as men and footballers. Quality individual. Condolences to the family. A sad day for the SANFL community.

RIP #6
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

So highly regarded by everyone he was involved with at The Bay.
Gone way too young.

Great man, undersized in ruck and as a key forward but gave his all week in week out for South and the Bays. Recently overseen a fantastic football program at Brighton which has seen the club rise to Div 1. Will be missed greatly.

I found this article about Sneezer from a personality profile that I have edited
Fav TV show : Mash
Fav Musician : Fleetwood Mac
Person he would most want to meet: Muhummad Ali
Best Footballer seen : Barrie Robran
Most difficult opponent: Max James
Best placed visited; Surface Paradise

Sneezer had an interesting preparation for each game up to at least 1981
11:30am Breakfast was 6 slices of toast and a glass of Milo

He started his career with a bang scoring 9 or 10 goals depending where I read in his first 2 games
He was a state footballer
Sneezer ended up kicking 377 goals , thats a decent amount for a player who played a fair bit at Centre Half Forward
