I was browsing through the SA History Festival brochure and saw not one but two SANFL-related events!

Go the Dogs! History of the Central District Football Club

Join the authors of Poms to Premiers the history of the Central District Football Club. Former club great Robin Mulholland and historian Robert Laidlaw will share stories, snippets and history of the club. Formed in 1959, it has grown into the largest-supported club in the SANFL. Show your team spirit by wearing your red, white and blue. Bookings essential.

Norwood Footy Club WWI Kitbag Tour

Come and hear the fascinating stories of the mighty Redleg players on both the playing and battle fields. Indulge in nostalgia for the good old days and visit the corridors of power and the inner sanctum. Finish in the President's Bar where some of Norwood's legends will pull out the kitbag and show some of Australia's most important football memorabilia. Bookings essential.

I gotta say, I hope that wasn't ours who wrote that the CDFC is the largest-supported club in SA...ludicrous.

That Norwood tour would be interesting, no doubt.

I think we were the largest attended in the 2007 season ;)
