Nibble nibble nibble

Wedgie my astute friend you are so correct once again.

As the Port Adelaide Power Reserves and the Crow Reserves are two new sides in the SANFL in 2014 they can be classed as the youngest sides.

However if the question had been which is oldest football club in SA which has a team in the SANFL then Been Reel is correct PAFC.

But this might not be correct because did"t the PAFC become the PAMFC and now the PAFC its all so confusing.

Begs the question then with that thinking Apachebulldog means the Eagles might be up there in age as well .
Didn't West Torrens come from Port Natives who left port back in the 1800's
Longbow but if you do it for Port lmao

From the west torrens history

The West Torrens Club, as the fans knew it, had its beginnings from a group of players known as the Port Natives. This was a splinter group of dissatisfied members of the Port Adelaide Football Club, who, in 1894, broke from that club when unable to get games with Port, and formed their own team known as the Port Natives. This club was accepted into the Adelaide and Suburban Association and won two Premierships in a row. The success was cut short when the Adelaide and Suburban competition went into a recess. The Port Natives, at their Annual meeting in March 1896, renamed themselves simply “Natives” and were accepted into to South Australian Football Association for that season.

We[l well Wedgie you have opened up a can of worms with the way you worded your question and I have given this more thought your list is wrong the Crows and Power Reserves/Seconds sides are technically not SANFL sides because these sides consist of AFL players.

I didn't ask any question and they are technically SANFL sides now as they play in the SANFL.

Wedgie I disagree with ya comment they are AFL sides manned with AFL registered players playing in the SANFL competition in other words INTERLOPERS.

There is just one answer to the question : South Adelaide.
The question did not ask who was the second oldest club which WAS Port Adelaide Magpies but is NOW Norwood !

Just to ask another question, how many threads can be made up about this subject. So boring and predictable.
