Hayes coached West Augusta to a premiership in the mid 2000's, then switched to Central Augusta and coached, for 1 losing GF and 3 winning GF's (09,10,11), then switched back to West Augusta in 2012, but is in for a long season there, he was not a very well liked coach at either clubs, had is favourites and treated his 'Stars' better than the rest, was a terrible loser and actually took his players off the field in the losing GF to Ports in 2008 straight after the game, only to come back for one of their players to receive the BOG and then to up and leave again.

Gerrard Bennett is a operations manager for TJS Cleaning.

Comes into my work a couple of times a week.

Always good for a laugh, still in shape and gets around in the 1950's dress sense.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Sat next to former WT/WWT player Mark Devine at a lunch recently. He seems to be doing well for himself.

Long MIA stats guru spelly - think he's being held in a POW camp on another site? - has a thread in this forum with a-lot of that stuff.

But like pafc8170 said, let us know the player's name.

Someone on here might have the records you're looking for...

Went into a business in Darwin today, and behind the counter was a filing cabinet with a couple of redleg stickers on the front. I asked "who is the Norwood fan?" This gentleman serving someone else replied "I am, I played for them." Asked his name, and he replied Mike Poulter. Started to inform me the years he played and you could tell he was very fond of his time at Norwood. He then took me into his office and showed me an awesome framed picture of Bob Hammond and himself after beating Glenelg in a final in 1975(?). Mike with the massive fro, and Bob quite emotional. Great bloke, and seemed he was quite eager to talk SANFL, past and present, so I will have too find excuses to visit him again, and throw some business his way.

Here is the photo

p.s. Doesn't have a hair on his head these days. Such a shame.

I met Poulter in a pub in Adelaide a few years ago, good bloke.

He was drinking with Gallagher, Menzel, and Colosante

Poulter mentioned how he was going to initially join Torrens, but after he was injured very early on, Norwood officials visited him in hospital, but he didnt get much support ftom Torrens.

The photo witj Hammond, I think, featured on the front page of a SA sporting history book that was released a couple of years ago.

When he was CEO of AFLNT he would train with the umpires for fitness, I used to rile him up by wearing a Bays guernsey to training. In some of the footy drills we would sometimes pair up - he'd win....
