When Adelaide merged with (ie: tookover) North Adelaide (the 2nd version) in 1889 according to newspapers reports the club song was sung at the meeting. So they have been around for a while.
Also reports on AGMs from those days often say that the club song was closed at the end of proceedings.
Norwood had a club song in their very early days as well (1880s or thereabouts) - the lyrics are in "Red and Blue Blue Blooded" by Mike Coward.
North Adelaide have had three different versions that I know of. One that was sung at the turn of last century, one from the 40's and 50's and the current one ("Great Great Club") which came about in 1968 and was written by Johnny Mac ( a Sturt Supporter!!).
