Hi Gang

A girl at work has just handed me some membership pins.

They're mostly Norwood ones from the 50's and 60's plus a North pin from 1960 and a Torrens pin from 1954.

Anyone know whether any of these might be sort after? None of them are pins from premiership years although I think Torrens won the reserves flag in 1954...

I just don't get a chance to get over Unley way very often to take them into Toss of a Coin, so asking everyones expert opinion here first..

Sorry to hiijack this one FC, but didn't want to start a new thread for one item: There is an antique shop on Goodwood Road, just next to Philicia Antiques, that is selling what appears to be an old window from (possibly) Prospect Oval at the moment, with a big NAFC Rooster logo in the middle of it. Would look great in a North fan's pool room! Its in their front window, but I couldn't quite see the price when driving past yesterday.

As for the medals - just PM'd you about those FC

I don't collect pins, but a lot of people do. They really are quite popular. I've seen some sell on ebay and fetch a good price, especially Norwood ones. There always seems to be a lot of competition amongst Norwood supporters on ebay .. which annoys the hell out of me.

If you like, you can PM me, tell me what you've got and how much you'd expect for them. I'd be interested to find out. Premiership pins bring more than others, so if you have a 1950 Norwood pin. The 1960 North Adelaide one is definitely a premiership pin.

The Torrens pin is 1952, not 1954 as I first suggested.

They're not mine to sell Hawk, they belong to a girl I work with, who is not quite sure what to do with them.

They belonged to her father who recently passed away...

I may be interested in the Norwood ones, but I am not sure what price they would be. Depends on condition of course. Perhaps she could ring Gerry from At The Toss of A Coin to get an idea what they would be worth.

They should fetch between $20 and $60 or so (retail) depending on condition.
As AH said, no premiership years in there.

Do you know if the 1964 is a pin back or a lapel loop? If it's a pin back, I might be interested.

I would appreciate the Norwood 1959 and 1967 member's badges. Please email me if its possible to obtain these 2 medals.
