My parents were telling me last night that my Dad tried out for West Torrens ,which I already knew .Poor old dad keeps telling me Freddie Bills out ran him and Dad gave up .He forgot to mention he was invited back but never went back. (poor old dad is going in to hospital next week so he must be thinking back)
Sorry off track but my parents also told me a distant relative on my mums side was West Torrens FF Alfie Roberts .Of course my lad asked who was he and what was he any good.
