The former Carlton captain whom has been in the news recently.I seem to recall that he played for Sturt in about 1991 and he lasted about 5 games. Then he ended up at Glandore A6 Amateurs.
      Am I correct ?

IIRC He ended up leaving Sturt for similiar reasons that he left Carlton because of and then ended up at Port Adelaide for about two seconds.

IIRC, played 7 games for Sturt.
Great player in his day but he was shot when came here.
Married the actress Kate Kendall (Stingers).

He was sacked by Sturt because he was unavailable to play for them as he was "injured" yet went across to Victoria that weekend to play in a Carlton legends game.

The dominator was a real game breaker. Should have won the Norm Smith is '82 except the VFL decided to say sorry years before Mr Rudd had even thought of it.
His career basically ended at Kardinia Park coutesy of a Gary Ablett spear. Never the same after that.
