Mate, no matter what starting point and end point you use North's history and success as an SANFL power is better than that of Glenelg.
However North's 3 premierships AND a Champions of Australia plus 9 Magarey Medals (to Glenelg's 4) between 1964 & 1990 says it all.

During that time there was really only 1 Powerhouse ... The others were crowd pullers at times, but as much as it hurts to say, none were powerhouses.
