Gap Between Byes

Dr Mr Spelly,
I notice that North have a 15 week gap between byes this year, they have one in Rd 2 then the next is in Rd 17. (will be 16 weeks for some players that play in the state game).
I was just wondering what the record gap between byes was since Torrens and Woodville stuffed the competition up by merging?

Cool thanks, looks like North has upset the SANFL with us having the biggest gap of all time.
They obviously dont have rocket scientists doing the draw.

All that really needs to be done is set a fixture around the Anzac Day rematch, and that teams play each other twice and three times alternate to the previous season. But as was the case last year, it's because there are numerous club requests that the fixture is the way it is.
