Just discovered that my bank (Bank SA) now charge a $2.50 fee every time you make a deposit to a bookmaker!  What a load of shit! Anyone else's bank do the same thing?

Found this on the bottom of a statement:

EFFECTIVE 7 DECEMBER 2013, WHEN YOU USE YOUR CARD ACCOUNT TO RECEIVE FROM A MERCHANT A CASH SUBSTITUTE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PURCHASING GAMBLING CHIPS OR TOKENS, TRAVELLER'S CHEQUES OR MONEY ORDERS OR TO LOAD VALUE TO A STORED VALUE CARD OR FACILITY, WE WILL TREAT THE TRANSACTION AS A CASH ADVANCE. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR CREDIT CARD CONTRACT OR BANKSA.COM.AU/CREDIT-CARDS FOR THE CASH ADVANCE FEE AND CASH ADVANCE VARIABLE INTEREST RATE THAT WILL APPLY.
