Sportsbet have odds for Player Performance in the First Test between Australia and South Africa.

Players are awarded:
1 point per run
10 points per catch
20 points per wicket
25 points per keeper stumping

The match must have a ball bowled in the third innings for bets to stand

Nathan Lyon is 1.90 to score over 69.5 points, which seems a reasonable bet
(Shane Watson is 1.90 to score over 119.5)

With wickets weighted so heavily you want a batsmen who might role their arm over, saying that I think Michael Clarke is a good bet at over 79.5 points.

Nothing else stands out to me.

If you can multi I would def be multi-ing the keepers, into G Smith, into M Clarke.

Catches are worth 10 points. Both Smith and Clarke are ball magnets and should make a few runs. and the keepers will always take catches in South Africa.

If i can multi i should get odds of approx 13/1

Want to hope that Lyon makes a few runs as he wont get much of a bowl in the first innings.

Anyone else liking the odds for a win in the second test? Aus $2.60 (Sportsbet), Sth Africa $2.65 (Tatts) ... 168 runs needed with only a 50% chance of showers (less than 2mm). Surely there's going to be a result!!

Can't help but think SA are a different side at home in the 1 dayers though. I'll be leaving this one alone I reckon.

QLD recovering slighlty to 6/120... Lucky Dunk made 50 or they'd be in real trouble...

Geez Johno do you need a massive SA collapse or what!!

Appeals left right and centre too.... 3 in the last 2 overs.... SA might only be chasing 150-180.... That $1.95 looks mighty short at the minute mate!!
