Disagree slightly - Humidor is the Australian Cup winner. If this race had been run @ Headquarters, he would've got her I think.

I don’t reckon he really extended her
I think he actually said she had more in her if Humidor had got closer
Like Black Cavier, I want to see her keep winning
I just wish I had a share of her and watch her live every week

Winx, take a bow.

Huge run by Humidor, took a champion horse to beat it. Wasn't that impressed with Bowman's ride.

Interviewed after the race & he said he rode a bit arrogant staying 3-4 wide because he didn't want to get boxed in.

I got no problem with jockeys staying out wide and avoiding trouble when they are clearly on the best horse.... its better than being boxed in!!

Said through the race Winx will find this tougher as it was out wide for so long and being at Moonee Valley it was an unreal win. Any lesser horse would have shit itself with 300m to go as it would have run out of steam. To be out so wide and still break the race record is mind boggling!

I think too many punters feel being wide is a negative

Personally id rather be out wide then sitting in the "box seat" with "a gun run" behind the leader where you are looking for luck. Then you dont get a run and have no chance of winning..... think Williams at Geelong on Wednesday....ran up behind the leaders with nowhere to go...

Of course this is all dependant on the horse.

Yep, Ubin Thunderstruck one of plenty of examples of what happens regularly at MV (albeit that was Geelong)

This sums up my day, my week my month.

Yesterday we went to the pub to have a few bets. I always back a 15, so of course being at the pub and being egged on by my mates, I was betting everywhere and anywhere.

In about 8 minutes the following bets popped up....

Brisbane R4, no 15 - Classy Ruby $20 shot
Trentham R8, no 15 - Falcon's Reach $60 shot

I'd had a few at this point and bets were going on thick and fast. I watched the Brisbane race and it didn't come home well at all. So I went to the bar. Then, above the ruckus, I hear the racecaller say "Falcon Rubi races to the front". I turn to see no 15 race clear and I start cheering! It salutes at 85 dollars, 151 fixed. But when I return to my chair, I realise I've got confused with Classy Ruby and Falcon's Reach and THIS 15, I didn't have a cent on!

Yep, in my haste to get to the bar, I missed out on a 151 shot.

Race Result Information

15 FALCON RUBI 85.60 13.90
2 ARTHUR PORRIT 2.90
13 ROCKY HIGH 2.20
SCR 3, 10, 12, 14, 17

QN 2* 15 344.90
EX 15* 2 497.90
Jackpot 379.68
F4 (Jackpot) 15* 2* 13* 8 492.30

TF 15* 2* 13 3125.10
Jackpot 3224.71
A2 2* 15 59.50
13* 15 32.90
2* 13 18.40

Nice work mate.

Followed this and went 8/3,5,9/3,5,9 for 3x divvy.

Tri paid $36.80.

And the 1st four $129.40 for those who went along, I didn't, however.

Should’ve been given another 10 for wasting everyone’s time.
