Nice get, hunger fell in but a win is a win

Yep, 559 collect for the syndicate, very handy!

I was at the SANFL today and heard the call and had butterflies when I heard about the photo (cos I have a bad strike rate with photos) but I was rapt with the result. Can't wait to see the replay now.

Spewing I didn't take the pick 4 too......oh well.....

If you ever see Peter Mertens you owe him a beer, he practically picked the horse up and threw it over the line
and yes that first 4 paid very well hindsight is a wonderful thing

I watched the replay yesterday morning FT and I couldn't believe it, it was gone at least twice in the straight and kept plugging away. Great effort from the horse and jock.

Singo didnt want to run her apparently Gai wanted to run her - this was even before Singo knew it was crook on thursday.

Massive, massive conflict of interest in my opinion, and the fact he constantly refers to her as Mum this and Mum that doesn't exactly distance himself from her.

from the media reports it is allegded that not long before the race was to be run Tom Waterhouse was to have said on camera and around the course that more joyous has a niggle and that he would lay the horse  (turns out too be a neck injury). Former jockey Alan "ROBBO" Robinson heard these comments then inturn told his mate singo about it, it was too late because singo had already put $100,00 on more joyous to win, it then runs second last so as any owner would asks the trainer what was this about Tom knowing more about the horse then me (the owner) then it all starts from there, OWNERS should be the ones to be told of any niggles or injuries not a trainers bookmaker son not long before a big race is to be run, i hope Gai gets a big wrap over the knuckles for this she cant do this to any owner not on IMO
