Dare say something dodgey might go down, does seem too much of a coincedence that they have a 'melbourne cup special' on MKR (currently the highest viewed show on the premiere timeslot) but also during the shows adverts they advertised that the Black caviar race will be aired live at half time of the friday night football game (also highest viewed program in that timeslot).

Is this a ploy to attract those people who would usually be unaware and uniterested in horse racing to put some of thier own hard earned on the great horse?
