apparently they have now backed down on the name

Scratched last night, assumedly due to the name.

The story goes they had never heard of Black Caviar but saw her racing at Ascot last year and liked the name. Its only the superstar horses that can't be copied and they didn't realise. Seems a load of bull to me - but could be just a smart publicity stunt... I wouldn't be blaming the owners, blame the South African authorities that let it through - surely they know about Black Caviar.
