I had a reasonable day overall. I spent sh1tloads on the cup for no return. After the Melb Cup, I had 27 bucks in my account. At the end of the day it was 814. Thanks to my mate who couldn't get on Tattsbet and got a 532 trifecta! The rest was my good work, well sort of (thanks again Dutchy!).

Well Ive finally broken my duck and seen him win in the flesh!

Fantastic gusty win from the big fella, 59.5kgs, 3-4 wide all the way, hit the lead early in the straight was challenged and kicked away.

I was riding him hard in the last 100m, Holly rode him really well.

Might not be going for a spell yet!

Suffice it to say he mightn't qualify for a 0-62 again any time soon either! I couldn't believe when I saw the odds given the form lines.

I kept telling anyone I spoke to that the softer track would help and he was the only horse that has been racing recently against Saturday company.

Just spewing we missed the 3rd leg of the quaddie, paid $12k.

Also got news today that the first Call Centre filly will be broken in come February.

How does someone pick a horse to win in a trifecta then not pick it to run a place?

:lol: the tri ticket looks like x-lotto ticket basically all different numbers apart from 14 which was repeated!

Not a ticket i could put on but ive seen those types previously and dont fathom it!
