When i came to see black caviar i got a good spot in the auditorium.
I figured i may get a spot there today. No, where the tote machines were its boarded up and used as storage! what a waste of an opportunity.
The course itself is dead.

Really been worth following a coupla jockeys .. McEvoy and Rodd had a top carnival thus far, Williams, Rawiller, McDonald been alright today.

reading an article about jockeys betting etc.

in NZ jockeys are allowed to bet on their mounts and all betting accounts are scrutinised accordingly.
It also went on to say about a race in QLD, the stewards werent happy with a jockey and questioned him over his riding tactics. he tried to explain to them about a few issues he had that couldnt be helped. He finally then told the stewards that if he was trying as he had $500 of his cash on it.
stewards fined him $300.
