Glencadam Gold comes up as system bet

I think he will go forward and position up in the first 4-6. If the lead is available, then Jimmy will go for it but im not sure he will push hard for the lead.

Alcopop is the big value in the race i believe.

Gatewood - couldnt touch it with monopoly money after its last start

I think he's too good to rule a line through, but I can't see him sitting off the pace and running them down. I've been wrong before of course!

I'm going to have a tri using Jakkalberry, Winchester, December Draw, Voila Ici, Sanagas, Glencadam Gold and Alcopop.

I agree with you about Alcopop. Down in the weights, good run last start, should get a gun run.

the one thing about caulfield is that it really favours front runners or those that settle very handy to the front

backmarkers rarely win and given the shift in rails from wednesday i think any backmarker will be hard-pressed in running a place

The run of Dunaden was outrageously good and the only other one from that field that may make a difference in Melbourne Cup IMHO is Folding Gear and I'm not sure that it's even qualified.
