Thought the run of Luckygray was acceptable considering it's never raced on anything worse than a dead rated track so I wouldn't let that put you off - even when it is up against better company.

Yeah I agree. Just hope it wasn't too gut busting for him and he has something left in the tank for rest of spring.

I see Peter Robl coming to Melbourne Wednesday for one ride on didntcostalot. Would have to think is one to watch Wednesday.

Thanks guys, thought he was gone 200m out!

Watched in in the Broadbeach Tavern and gave my son a massive bear hug when he rallied to win.

He was smashed in on the tote, got him $6.40 on BF plus a 20% owners bonus to come :D

If he keeps running like that I'll surely I will witness him win soon!

BTW that win takes him past Call Centre's prizemoney, would have never thought of that 2 years back.

I'd heard that the SAJC still hasn't got a cent yet from the sale of Cheltenham because apparently - according to the buyer anyway - you don't have to cough up until the council has made it clear just how many houses you will be able to squeeze into the development.
If this is common knowledge about them not getting the money yet, I must have missed it.

The sale price would be based on council approval of what can be put on the site, the value of a piece of land can triple once these approvals are held. So I are say above is right if the council haven't issued their approvals etc.
