Genarka Star Race 8 in Pt Augusta today lads. Has a chance apparently but i'm not getting my hopes up.

Interesting story out of the races today with a horse called Jabiru Dreaming winning it's 9th start in a row at Townsville.
The horse started out it's career called 'Shake Me Baby' under Rick Hore Lacy but was shipped north to the sunshine coast and then North again to Mt Isa after it couldn't win one of it's first fourteen maiden races. Today it beat a decent field of Achievements (2nd) and Kilwinning Option (starting fav) but it had to do it from the carpark draw and paid just shy of $10 for the win after a barnstorming finish down the outside.

I know what the prizemoney was, Hilton said a couple of times today it counted towards the metroplitain premierships.
