Smoken up in the Sa derby now. The odds may be alright to have a little on now. But in saying that he is only 3.50 for the inters and that's not til march

It's the S.A. CUP not the Derby but i think even mal could drive him to a win the way he's going atm. Cant imagine it being an overly strong field.

Trouble is that the prizemoney for this race has stagnated at $100,000 for what seems to be decades and with Smoken Up continually appearing, most of the other better performed horses avoid coming here to get ready for other races or go to Perth for a crack at the BIG $$$$$ resulting in an average quality field for a Gp 1 race.

The prizemonies will go interstate AGAIN
A few spectators will crack a fat over seeing some good horses for the series, and most of them will disappear for another 12 months
For punters like me its a disruption
I have to now try and evaluate Interstate form which I have little idea about

Looks like I will have to roll up , as I have in the past, and spend the night watching the kids entertain themselves on the rides and aniMAL exhibits

take smoken up out and other horses would come, forexample make mine cullen was coming until smoken up definitely accepted - i have smoken up at $1.10 only because he doesnt like the small tracks that much

Heres some Welcolme Advice
Its called a Late Mal Overload

Dont take the $1-04 with the TAB
If you are on course and its the same odds take the $1-04 with a Bookie

$1000 Supertab @ $1-04 = $1040 return
Instead place 1,000 X $1 bets with the bookies
When the champ wins you MUST collect each ticket individually
The bookies payout clerks will have to pay you $1-05 for each ticket [as they must do a round up of 5c]
This way you will end up with a total collect of $1050
That will result in an extra $10 profit !
