Never change your mind! Second guessing is the worst thing you can do.

That means NOT getting swayed by late mail or late fluctuations.

Find out what rd thinks is a sure thing, and is betting on. Then go against it. :D

rule 1: if i see a race in any code regardless, with 5 or 6 runners, always back the longest odds.pays off more than it should.

rule 2. if u put on the wrong ticket, always keep it, and go back ur original bet.

rule 3:if its not fun anymore, just leave, throw the paper in the air and just go. too many times ive gone chasing lost $$ and 95% of the time turned a shit night into a disaster.

rule 4: make sure i have enough money to get a pie n pastie from the guy at the gate ;)

I could give you another rule to follow after today's day for you, but I know you won't listen to that either ;)

There are three that I abide by;

1. back a horse that has good formlines over heavy ground when they're running on good or dead ground. Unless it's Jungle Ruler.

2. back pretty much anything with a x06, x05, x04 formline. See the last at Geraldton today, which won at 19.90 as an example.

3. back anything that has returned from a spell with double digits in its past two runs (ie, x77, x66, x55, x44, x33, x22).

As long as:

The distance the horse has been beaten in its past two starts has decreased.
The distance of THIS race is longer than the previous one.

But I'm well known as a mug punter, so take this as MY golden rules, not to be confused with rules for others.
