 its good to see the afl giving all vic clubs the opportunity to go well in the finals.
roccas "good record" and early plea got him a talking to.
i just shake my head .

1) I thought Rocca was gone (1 game at least)
2) at least the process is more transparent these days- they break down the degrees of the charge, at least allowing people to see how they've come to the decision.

there has been quite a few other reports this year where I thought would've resulted in suspensions but didn't. And a few of those were from interstate teams so disagree that the AFL is assisting the vic clubs.

so he didnt hit Goodes hey.
just going to spoil his head oops sorry the ball .
the system still is flawed.
the powers still play around with rules ,laws and we end up with more complications and arguments.
and as for eddie phobia, when a person believes he is bigger than the game we should be worried.
stay tuned for the new away gurnsey white on black stripes .

Roo explain to me why if Rocca whacked him to the extent you are indicating then how come

1. No blood nose and 2. Goodes did not even put his hand up to feel his face.

He hardly touched him.

As for Eddie AFL.....its boring listening to that line over and over again.

Why dont you get your President to get a higher profile anyway, now who is it again ?
For some backing a Melb Cup winner at 125/1 is a dream........for me its a fact !!!

Are you and idiot SF?
No blood nose?
So what, i watched a bikie in Rundle Mall punch some poor donger in the face three times before the poor bloke's nose started bleeding.
Goodes didn't reach for his face?
I got a whack in the shnoz running through a pack last week, blood pissed out but i never reached for my face until the ball was gone.
Rocca was never going to make contact with that ball, he admitted his guilt for the strike.
He should have got at least one.
Very similar to the David Cloke on Tyson Edwards incident in that prelim final.
Clobbered Tyson in the head, got the game, missed the GF.
While i agree that the decision has nothing to do with Eddie, it should have got a game.

He did get a game, but due to the way points system goes, turned into a reprimand...

I don't think there's a victorian bias, but i still believe he shouldn't play on the weekend, regardless of who they are playing.
Wrong decision but in the end, you win some, you lose some, that should just be accepted.

I disagree strongly- Rocca's hit on Goodes was worse than Cloke's attempt at spoiling.
What went against Cloke, was that as Edwards fell, his head hit the ground, causing him to bleed, & making things look far worse than what they were.
I disagreed with his suspension at the time, & still do to this day.
As for Rocca, I would've thought it was his own stupidity if he got a game this week (much like when he cleaned up Lade (?) in the Prelim Final years ago)

Rocca's spoil was late and nowhere near the ball. I don't care about Collingwood or Sydney, but he should have got games for it. You think he would have learnt his lesson by now, especially after missing the '03 GF through suspension. And of course he'll plead guilty when he knows that's enough to get him off. Crap!

Brent Reilly?????
if you watch the incident in full motion you can see he tries to turn his body before impact.
he could have continued his forward motion with a front on challenge.
that is why it was thrown out.
slow motion will always blurr some realities
unlike a direct movement like rocca which never changed. it was done with a purpose!

Roob - I knew that you'd come back with it, and I don't disagree.
If the AFL was that Victorian biased, as you posted at the beginning, he would've gone anyway wouldn't he.....

Also PR - I agree with you a hunjy % about the Cloke/Edwards incident.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.
