I think despite being a Geelong fan I want the Crows to win!

Cats are 3 games plus a phenomenal 55% ahead of second so in essence are 4 games clear of the next team, there's no way they can lost top spot.

It'd be good if a team that plays footy could actually make the finals so I hope the Crows get in there.

Adel play Kardinia Park well and have had some good wins there. However I expect Geelong's class to win out however we won't be murdered...

Adelaide have had three wins at Cat Park out of 12 matches. The last time the Blackbirds won at Cat Park was in 2003 when we used to regularly get bullied by the bigger bodies of the Crows when our side was still very much in rebuilding mode. Mark Ruccuito in particular used to give us trouble.

Looking forward very much to ending Adelaide's season next week. Don't care if it's a flogging or not.

Looking for a competitive effort - if the crows put the breaks on Geelong like 7 -8 weeks ago we can be competitive.. it's about getting in and having a go - they may not match Geelong for speed and skills, but going hard at it - they can make a game of this..

I'm expecting Geelong to win (but only by a couple of goals...) I actually give the Crows a realistic chance of winning givin the winning streak Geelong currently have and the nothing to play for until September now.. just look at what it did to the Storm last year - lost 3 of their last 4...

Yes it is going to be hard to pull off without that group. Geelong have height so Massie in a key defensive role may not work. Maric at CHB and Perrie FB, with Griffin in the ruck???

Huddo's going to be in for a torrid time with King, Otto and Blake all playing next week. (Unless King gets reported for taking a screamer over the goal umpire! )
Gill will be interesting to watch on a skinny ground like KP, best match up for him I can think of is Milburn but Milly might be a bit slow for Gilly.

They played all 3 yesterday and it seemed to work OK.
With Blakey now finding his goalkicking boots any of the 3 can play up forward and really stretch the Crows defence.

It will be interesting, I am not sure if you can take yesterday's game as a success to this new structure

The Cats structure with two ruckman is proven over the season, I believe they are flirting with danger changing this formula just to find a spot for King

Where it may come back and hurt the Cats is if the team lose a runner during the game, playing three ruckman may upset the balance, and reduce the midfield flexibility on the bench, these days it's the midfield depth that wins you footy games

Yeah but as I said, its not as though all 3 can only play in Ruck, all 3 (and moreso Ottens) can play as a key forward.
Its not like we'll have one of them in ruck while the other 2 are on the bench.
Adds a bit more flexibility and probably relegates the 3rd best tall defender to someone like N.Ablett or Hawkins.

I think we should enjoy our moment in the sun stirring up the Port supporters because it's likely to all come crashing down next week for us ... unfortunately

Having said that, the Crows 7 point loss at AAMI to Geelong is as close a game as the Cats have had in a long time

N Ablett is lucky to be in the side

I have watch a fair bit of Geelong this year and everyt time he has been disappointing, it should be easy playing forward in the Cats side each year

Definitely understand that all 3 will not play as ruckman, but in my view it chokes your structure and flexibility

Ottens has proven this year he is a better ruckman than forward, Kind and Blake a better ruckmen than forwards

I am a true believer that you play your best players in their best positions, playing one of these players up forward means you are not playing him in his best position, in additon it also may push a natural forward out of the side, someone like N Ablett or Hawkins

My view, the Cats are flirting with Danger playing all three ruckmen, even if this enables them to play one of them up forward
