I think the record amount of players from one side for an All Australian side in the past has been about 6?
Wouldn't suprise me to see Ablett, Bartel, Ling, Enright, Mooney, Corey, Chapman, Scarlett and Milburn all having a good chance.
Could easily throw Ottens, Mackie, Selwood, Harley, Mackie and Egan into the mix too!

St Kilda:
Dal santo and Riewoldt are the usual names thrown up. Dont think either have had the years to warrant selection.
former blood Sam Fisher has had a terrific year, but 3/4 of the time he doesnt have an opponent

Leigh Montagna has also been very good.

From Hawthorn - Sam Mitchell would probably be it. Luke Hodge an outside chance and a real longshot Lance Franklin but he's just too inconsistent.

I reckon Jess Sinclair might be a possible roughie...averaging 21 possies per game and getting more of the hard ball this season, easily his best so far

Kane Cornes has it pretty sweet. The taggers always go to the Burgoyne and in fact Kane is almost a 'run with' player himself, except he usually plays 'off' his man a bit and in so doing he never fails to collect a 5hitload of possessions. While Kane's numbers are fantastic I reckon that those numbers make him an automatic inclusion in a dream team, but not necessarily the All Australian side. Having said that, the selectors do look at those large numbers so perhaps my wharfie friend is OTM.

Geelong will get dudded at AA like they do every other year. Ablett, Bartel and Scarlett only, possibly Corey. Ling is unfashionable and because he plays in the middle is no chance. Milburn's first name should be Cliff because he gets overlooked every year for possession scabs like Joel Bowden FFS. Jonno Brown will get CHF, Chapman has missed a bit too much football. You can forget about the rest except for maybe Egan but I reckon he'll get the Milburn treatment as well, but I can cop Egan missing out for blokes like Andy McLeod.

I would think McLeod will be the only one from the Crows.

Just checked the records, Brisbane got 6 in 2002 and that was the record for the most.

For Brisbane- 10.1 for J.Brown yesterday would make him worthy of selection. Merrett has also impressed down backlines this year.

Merrett ahead of Glass and Scarlo? I think not.

No matter what happens, there is always a contentious decision. Like Silvagni at CHB, Pav at FB, Lloyd ahead of Coleman Medallist Cummings etc.
I think both Adelaide sides are in line for probably about 4 in total.
From the Crows Id think Mcleod is a shoe-in. Thompson is also a big chance. Edwards a slim chance.
From Port, the Chad is a shoe-in. Could be a leadership role as well. Kane, although I definately wouldnt have him in, if he keeps racking up numbers like he has been there the selectors will look at him. Currently #1 in disposals in the league. Could be the contentious decision im talking about. If P Burgoyne continues his blistering form off the flank, after his good start to the season, he could see himself in but most likely a bench spot.
Cats should have Ablett and Scarlett as definates. Chapman and Milburn are pretty close to definates as well. Bartel probably needs to rediscover his form from the first half of the year otherwise some others might overtake him, but at the moment he'd be in.
Forward line will be the interesting thing to watch this year. So many players could sneak in.
