There's an element of bias from me as a Brisbane Lions member and supporter but I honestly think they have a brilliant jumper with the big Fitzroy Lion contrasting against the maroon and blue. If they adopted the old Roys' guernsey for away games they'd have the best two jumpers in the league IMO !

After that my favourites are Melbourne's followed by Richmond's.

As for the worst I can't go past the Freo Dockers!

As a Port supporter I had to chose Port Adelaide!

I agree with your call about the Dockers home guernsey. Although I really like their white away guernsey, at least theirs is a true 'clash' guernsey and it looks smart.

This poll could have been called "Who do you support?" ... in all honesty, who would vote against their colours!

There was nothing as fearsome as the old dark navy running around Melbourne's grounds in the 70s and 80s. Unfortunately they changed the monogram about 10 years ago to a different older style look - nowhere near as good IMO and the club have struggled on the park since changing the jumper.

It seems as though there is a hex on the current jumper, much the same way as the Dockers being "anchored" by the anchor on their jumper, the saying over here (mainly from WCE fans) being that they are weighed down by the anchor and won't win a flag until they ditch it from their jumper.

I think fans can be dispassionate and vote for another club's jumper e.g. whilst I barrack for South I like Sturt's jumper the best.

I should clarify that, WOF, and say that very few would vote against their own side's colours. I suppose it would be one factor in choosing your team but not necessarily the overriding factor.

BTW, I agree that Sturt's colours are more striking than the Sth Adel/Carlton look and if we had a choice on whether Carlton should wear the white away top or a Sturt-style jumper as a clash strip, then I'd wear the latter hands down.

I voted for the Carlton guernsey :shock:

IMO I think regardless of the style of the CFC logo, it is the
strongest looking guernsey in the AFL.
If the Fitzroy jumper was used, that would've got my vote...
I also like the Sainters with the black cross and red/white panel...

Benchwarmer...not like the M&M one though !!! :shock:

I chose Geelong although Carlton was my second favourite.
Played in a Geelong style jumper on weekend and it looked great, stood out.
Carlton's navy blue looks strong, while Essendon's conveys a devilish sort o feel.
I go for the crows, and i like their guernsey, would have to call St Kilda's cross the worst.
There's no reason to have a crucifix on a jumper, just have the three colour panels belting down the front.

I prefer to look at the entire uniform to come to my decision.
Melbourne and Geelong are my favorites and I've always liked
(wait for it) Hawthorn.
I don't think Brown all that bad a colour.( :shock:

)
As for jumper designs,I like sashes(Essendon,Richmond etc.)
and monograms(Carlton,Sturt,South Adelaide).

I like the Kangaroos striped guernsey

I think Royal Blue and white look good however the guernsey's designed

Freo's is the worst and I really think it's time to go ......... purple :shock:

A new, smart, strong, colour scheme and design would be a good start for them IMO

Worst jumper would have to be the fruit tingle licorice all-sorts cow jumper. A real shocker!!

BLUE HOOPS. Worst is the Hawks Pee and Poo technicolour yawn combination. Best non Cat jumper is the Blues. Best 'interstate' jumper, The Lions.

Back in the 1990s, the Crows' jumper used to be described as having been made out of Fruit Loops.

no that just all adds up to it.
My 2nd favourite jumper is PAPs with the thunderbolt- teal used to be my favourite colour until the scums took it over.(they are my 2nd most hated AFL team!!)
