Agree
to many players letting Craigy down, once again Craigy's faith in his players may be his weakness
Rutten and Roo will miss
Perrie, Gill and Mattner will be considered
I would like to see McIntyre get a run

LOL. Ever since I left SA Port hasn't beaten the Cats at home or away and Geelong have won at Football park against the Blackbirds twice. It might be cold and windy down there but in Ippy it was minus 1.5 yesterday morning. BRRRR.

Agree with blooding youngsters here, Ricciuto can look to 2008, i love Rutten, he's rarely beaten, Perrie is a hardworking pinhead.
I don't care how much he runs if he can't kick a drop punt he shouldn't play.
Mattner is a gun.
Gill and McIntyre would be good to see.

surely Griffen must be considered for a forward post if Mcgregor or Bock are sent to defence to help cover the loss of Rutten

So when Freo take on your Cats in a couple of weeks it will be the never wazzas vs the exponential potentials?
Back on topic, I agree with giving Griffen a run as a forward rather a 10min per quarter ruckman. Mattner should come back in. Up until last week Gill was running into good form although had a quiet one on the weekend like plenty of his mates. McIntyre still needs time and has hardly been in form for the Cocks.
Not sure of all the answers but agree there's a need for change. Even when the Crows are winning the formula looks stale.....

At best I think the crows will finish as high as 6th at the end of the minor round.
As a supporter I wouldnt mind so much if we started to give some of the untried alot more game time - it will only be to our benefit in the future.
Alot of our players are playing injured or are well under 100% ( Birdman / Goodwin / Roo / Bock / Johncock / Reilly - just to name a few ) - now could be the time to rest them up for a full blown assualt on th 2008 premiership cup.
For me Gill - Sellar - Hinge all as ins this week at least !!!
Griff as a forward as well !!!

Wost case scenario for Adelaid has occurred. Connolly has quit and we all know what happens when teams appoint a new coach, albeit a care taker. My prediction is a freo win by 2-3 goals

We were pathetic against WC, good against a non interested Hawthorn and pathetic last week against St Kilda.
We do not have a hope against Freo this week and will get flogged (sides who lose their coach always come out the next week and win) Even if we make the finals we are nowhere near a serious premiership contender. Power have more chance than we do at this stage.
Once again we have promised the world and underachieved.
Say goodbye to 2007 and look forward to 2008 boys...start by sacking Neil Craig.

I would like to see some youngsters tried too, but while we are still looking to play in the finals as a supporter I'd prefer the best team on the park in any given week. '98 showed what can happen if you strike form in September (plus have a system where you can finish 5th, lose your 1st final and then get a double chance

)
