I rekon this will be the game that could break our back if we lose on Saturday night.
What ricks does mummbles have up his sleeve ???
We only lost by 21 points and played terrible against the Weagles - if we do the same again on Saturday Night the margin will be greater.
Carn you Crows - please

Selection tomorrow will be interesting
Bassett out, Perrie still not available, this will force the crows to play Bock or McGregor back and look for a new tall forward
Options
McIntyre to come in as a third tall defender and Stevens to push forward
Gill may finally get his chance after a shocking run with injuries
Sellar may be a smokey selection to play forward
Griffen may play forward and Maric to come in as a ruckman

OK but not great, kicked 3 goals last week but only had 7-8 touches....only his 3rd game for the year, would be throwing him to the wolves....honestly think it would be to early for the lad

I have been critical of the crows, sometimes you just have to take a punt with these kids, other clubs seem to do this, sometimes they struggle but other times you might just find something
I would not of thought Westhoff would of been right to go with the Power, but the kid has not looked back, the same with Gray and this week's rising star from Collingwood only got his opportunity through injuries
Expect the unexpected

Even if Goody and Burton play, I still expect Douglas to win selection, the club can't ignore last week's performance
Radar and Bassett will miss, their will be a few boys under pressure to hold their spots

But Sellar has had injuries and fitness worries, Id be suprised if he gets a game this season and even more suprised if he did well

Go the Hawks. Way to deprive the Eagles of their Putriaco security blanket come September.

I rekon it would be great if they played Sellar - it would restore some faith that I have lost from our selection panel as I am always critical of them not giving the untried a go.

Just thought about it a little more and maybe someone has been named that is actually not going to play.
So if that midfielder doesnt play RD will be straight in.

I don't think Goodwin will play.

I do not think the 22 named will be the 22 that run out on Saturday night
My mail, Goody will miss another week, Douglas will play, and looking at the forward structure, I would hope Gill will still come under serious consideration
Welsh is inconsistent
Roo still finding touch
Burton's first game back so anything can happen here
Bock, still not proven as a forward
I believe, this is good timing to give Gill an opportunity
On the omissions
Griffen, I think this is a good move, he needs a rest, his thin frame has been pushed around a bit and it's good timing to give a bigger bodied and hungry Maric an opportunity
Mattner, he has paid the price for poor decision making and skills execution, my only concern is how has Torney kept his spot. Torney plays with courage but is disposal is aweful, their either Simon Tragenza kicks or half volleys

Just gave me an interesting idea if Goodwin doesn't play - Welsh to centre and Gill to FF??? It may not be totally silly - he does compete and he tackles - he is just not a reliable FF!
I suspect Burton's fitness may be suspect too!
