Could well be goal of the year. For those who saw it you know the one,for those who did not.
50m out on the run, check side ala Adam Yze earlier this year.(Yze from 30 out).
Motlop has some sublime skills and some real brain freeze's in the one body, more sublime and less chill's thanks Danny, will help us alot.

Yze's was much better, much closer to the boundary and a sharper angle....thought Motlop was great but will get injured again before the season is out, will never play a full season

Motlop was had a night out sure ...
Port stick in there at 8-5 would have to like their chances for a final 8 spot which I admit would be a surprise for me based on my thoughts at the start of the year

Both on the boundary, one from 50 one from 30,so who is one the tighter angle?
What does "but will get injured again before the season is out" have to do with this topic FFS?

Generally when you go further out the angle gets better? Ill stake my life on the fact here is more daylight between the goalposts 50m out on the boundary than 30m out
His name is in the title so I though an opinion on him might be topical?

For freakish skills he is one of the best in the AFL
I once said he has skills like Darren Jarman.
If only he could get fit and be injury free.
Im with BOONEY it was just about the goal of the year

He may have the skills of Darren Jarman, but he has the brain of Paris Hilton.

Was a good goal, but I can't believe how overrated it is becoming. It wasn't THAT good.

Best goal Ive seen in a long time- getting that sort of distance with a checky is freaky- my only issue is if hed kicked it wih his left foot and it had bounced through (the more conventional option) it wouldnt be in the hunt for goal of the year

Was it him or his brother a few years ago playing for North Melbourne, he was on the boundary line on the right hand side of the ground facing the goals with a set shot at goal. Normally a right footer would use a checkside (obviously Motlop uses this technique on the other side of the ground as well), but he attempted a reverse screwy with his right foot. It almost worked. I've never seen anyone deliberately kick like this in a game situation. He does have some tricks...
