mascot runs through banner is it a first ?

little bayman pointed out to me that the geelong mascot ran through the banner with the team & asked me if it has been done before, to my knowledge i can't remember seeing it happen, but has anyone else ever seen that happen before ?

A television personality called Happy Hammond ran through the Geelong
banner before the 1963 Grand Final.
REB will hopefully corroborate this.
