it seems that REB's pussies are doing the job on MAL at the moment by 25 points at the DOME where it is 18 under the roof but 13 degrees outside.......
only watched the first 5 minutes of the game but have listened to the rest.....
unfortunately DREW MORPHETT has mentioned cat fans getting GRAND FINAL tickets - i mean come on.............a bit early for that.......

Once again.
To every team.
Don't get carried away.
You are only beating St.Kilda.
Just wait until your boys beat a real club.

Over the past 4 weeks I have reserved my judgement on the Cats and I have watched them closely over the past 5 weeks.
I wont go as far as declaring the Cats favorites for the 2007 flag, but I am happy to table my observations and thoughts
Over the past month, the Cats brand of footy is as good as what I have seen over the past 3 years, my view, the improvement has come frome
1. The tem is fitter and stronger, they have improved leg spped from last year, stronger bodies and now have the capability to work hard both ways, this is shown in both their run from HB and their defensive pressure.
2. Their Structure, Ottens is fit and playing super footy in the ruck, at present is in the top 3 ruckman in the comp.
The forward lines have developed more tall options and are not relying on Mooney to kick a score, N Ablett is maturing and Hawkins will come back in a better player, not to mention small forwards like G Ablett, Johnson, Chapman, Stokes Vacoe.
The Defence, fantastic Balance, they are well served by Harley and Scarlett as the talls, Milburn can play tall or short, they just create amazing run from HB.
The Midfield, once again, plenty of options, depth, leg speed and flexibility.
The Cats improved fitness base is paying dividens, they have a fit and heathy list, depth in all zones and most importantly, the core of this side has been together for a few years now, they have all the makings of a real contender.

Keeping the lid on boys. If we beat the Crows at Girlee though, then that will take some doing!
