Judd's gouge

What are the thoughts about the eye gouge from Judd today. I so only a brief view on the news and not from a great angle, so wouldnt like to make too much comment. The whole incident over here is bigger than the loss. In the news tonight it was the first thing mentioned in the entire broadcast. If he goes it will do one thing - open the Brownlow Market.

After seeing the incident a few times, Chris Judd is definitely in trouble. If he does get suspended, Chad Cornes should be the favorite for the Brownlow.

Chad Cornes should be the favourite anyway. West Coast have a few players that can take votes away from Judd. Cornes is the absolute stand out player in the Port side. Not saying Port don't have other good players but Cornes this year is easily at another level.

Couple of interesting comments coming out about the incident.
- Brown saying that he doesnt think that Judd should have a case to answer
- and Wayne Carey and his assesment that it was fairly soft, but if it was reversed Brown would get one or tweo weeks, but because its Judd he'll get off.

Chad Cornes? :?

I didn't know umpires noticed players who stood out the back of packs and collected uncontested possession after uncontested possession?

Nothing in it .. Half the time a player is on the bottom of a pack they'll push, shove, claw anything to get someone off them without even realising which part of the body it is.
