Hope you enjoy that coin toss. Given Channel 7's coverage, we won't see it on telly.

This is a danger game. A danger game for the Crows and a danger game for Channel 7's ratings in Melbourne.

The Crows 31-40.

You have to be able to kick 120 first.

We kicked 100 points last week ...

Considering our scoring this year that's the equivalent of 35 goals for Geelong isn't it

My tip would be the Crows, yet surely Richmond have to win one sooner or later, yet going by some of the floggings the Crows have specifically given Richmond in their time, I would say that the odds are not in their favour of it happening this week!

I wonder if the Tab is taking bets on who will win a game first, Richmond or Melbourne? :D

The boys are on to that in the Gambling room in a couple of threads I have read ..... there are even odds on which week Richmond will win their first game

Melbourne have been a bit unlucky, they have had some narrow losses to Port and the Dogs lately and could have easily won one of those games, maybe even both. They are better than their record suggests but I can't see them beating a West Coast side coming off a loss at Subi this week. They might have to wait until they play each other, could you imagine if that was a draw?

Well it will be a Friday night blockbuster. Round 12, 22nd of June. Second week of the split round Melbourne and Richmond will go head to head. Could go a long way to determining who gets the number 1 draft pick. Is there a standout this year? Could it be billed like last years "Bryce Gibbs Cup" match between Carlton and Essendon?

Stone the Crows! Never before: $1.005!

Centrebet has quoted red-hot Adelaide a history-making $1.005 (1/200) to beat bottom-of-the-table Richmond getting 39.5 points start in tonight’s AFL clash at AAMI Stadium!

It means, by taking the greatest certainty on the planet backing Adelaide with +39.5, $10.00 would win you 5 cents, $100.00 would win you 50 cents, $1,000.00 would win you $5.00 – and plunging $1 million would only give you a $5,000.00 profit!

Never before has an AFL team been priced shorter than $1.01 in an exotic market – but given punters have still backed the Crows from $1.12 to $1.10 to win the match, it’s not surprising!

“Can you believe it, the Tigers beat Adelaide last season, now the exotic markets are out of this world. One thing’s for sure, punters will chase the margins, and put the Crows in every multi going,” Centrebet’s Neil Evans said. “Even with only 24.5 start, the Crows are still only $1.01 (1/100)! The best value might be to win by over 40 at $2.15.

“We had Helen Mirren $1.01 to win the Best Actress Oscar – and Australia was similar against the weakest opposition at the World Cup – but this is twice as short! We can’t go any lower because there’s no 1 and 2 cent coins! For the record, Richmond is $34.00 to win by more than 40!”

Meanwhile, Essendon has been heavily backed to beat the Brisbane Lions! “We’ve taken two outright bets of $20,000.00 each – and a stack more four-figure ones. With all the sentiment around the passing of James Hird’s grandfather, the Bombers are in to $1.75 (from $1.87).

And Centrebet punters have also rallied behind Collingwood to upset the Western Bulldogs!

Anyone else notice that the crowd effects mike seems out of action on the TV coverage? All I can hear are the commentators and the miked umpires.

..... waiting for the jokes about Crows supporters at AAMI .....
