HW will be on the plane and rueing the one that got away.
HW led by 4 goals in the 2nd qtr and that would be disappointing

Approximately 8 minutes left was 2 turning points of the game

1 HW up by 6 points and a mark in the FR forward line after coming CLEARLY
off the hands of the HW player....GOAL and a absolute gut wrenching decision
Scores level

2 With a 6 point point lead HW decided to drop numbers behind the ball
In the next 5 minutes FR controlled the footy, gained initiative, gained momentum
and most importantly, were more positive and win the footy game
In those 5 or so minutes nearly every player for both teams was in the FR forward line
A couple of times HW players gained possession and had no one in front of
them to kick to posssession and were caught holding the ball or dispossesed

Once again the side that tried to win, not defend won a game of footy
FR have now beaten AC + HW with scores level late in the game.

The pity is HW have come a long way since my insinuations from round 4

The one that got away ........

wot about half way thru 2nd qtr, HW up by 4 goals, crwaford set shot 30mtrs out slighty in front, point, freo next 4 goals till half time

The Crows let one sip over there too. Says to me that Freo are still having some issues.

It was 'must-win' for Freo. They were 2-4 going in and play Geelong in Melbourne next week.
