Best player to compare Motley with would be Brett Burton but better

Was a star
Would have been a champion no doubt

you are on drugs comparing mots to the bird man even though you said mots was better. Just cause a bloke takes some big grabs doesnt mean he was burton like. Peter motley was a stronger body a better decision maker and had skill to burn unlike burton. It is a dead set shame that we never got to see him at the top of his game for longer. Champion bloke too

I WILL REITERATE MY POINT
Burton is used as a comparism

MAGILL is compared to WARNE but WARNE is better

On the walk to the green my mate suggested we go around with him.We asked if he would mind, and with complete honesty we said it would be an honour for us both.He was stoked to have some playing partners and we played the next 16 holes with him.
A fantastic bloke who enjoyed our footy discussion as well as having good swing and he had great touch around the greens.
Will remember that day,and his brilliant skills for a long, long time.
