Spectators calling an umpire a "white maggot" will be escorted out of the ground now according to the AFL.
There was also other words that are now not being accepted but didn't catch them.

Lucky they wear orange, red and green now. :)

Operation sanitation almost complete.

The article said the SANFL will not follow suit so you are safe at Footy Park unless you abuse an umpire while drunk

Is there a link to the article? Sounds odd that you could be 'safe' at Footy Park - if it is an AFL directive, it would apply to all AFL games regardless of venue.

Funny I was threatened with ejection at last years Collingwood v Power game not for foul or abusive language or threatening members of the crowd but for cheering to loudly! :-$

currently the Banning of the White maggot only applys at The Gabba as they have implemented themselves NOT the AFL.

What rot. As long as it's not racial, religious or considered offensive by the majority of people, yelling stuff at the ump is part of the game/atmosphere.

Really, Perm, you can call them anything except cheats in my book.

Why not cheats? Is that less socially acceptable than Maggot?

Speak for yourself.....

I can handle being called a cheat, don't ever, EVER, EVER accuse me of being a Port Power supporter.
