It is been alleged on 3AW that Jeff farmer was arrested this morning by WA police for allegedly assaulting a security guard at a Perth nightspot.
Any posters in Perth can confirm this???

It just keeps getting wilder in the wild west.
The Sunday Footy Show also mentioned it. Police confirmed a man had been arrested for an alleged assault.

Just herd on theABC that Freo have suspended Farmer until round 13

In a media release confirming Farmer's arrest, Fremantle said the player would be suspended until round 13, at which time his future with the club would be assessed following his required appearance before the club's board of directors.
Fremantle also said it had fined Farmer $5000, without any presumption of guilt in regard to the charges.

Farmer was supended for punching a security guard (bouncer) at a nightclub in Northbridge. He was trying to enter the nightclub via an exit door and was stopped on two occasions. On the second time he thumped the security guard in the face alledgedly.
