The Kangaroos are always under the spotlight, but just who is Melbourne's consituency? I, for one, would not bleed for one second if they disappeared from the competition. Their "supporters" are the most front running in the AFL (as witnessed by last week's pathetic turnout) - just who do they represent? Apart from tartan rug clutching old money fom Toorak or anywhere in Melbourne's dry zone?

It's not about the side on the ground - it's about their constituency. Are there any softer supporters in the league?
