As much as I love Goodies style, gotta be said on his performances this year he hardly can warrant his position.

When watching last week they were playing him in the backline I said to a mate that he looked like he was being held back by something

On Goodwins form

Round 1 - injured early, no opportunity to have an impact on the game
Round 2 - WB, form was fantastic, 33 touches
Round 3 - PA, played across HB, 16 touches, par performance
Round 4 - SYD, played at HB and collected 19 touches and played a more defensive role on one of Syd small forwards

Yes, not at his brillant best but has played a different role while shaking off his injury

My mail, Goodwin will play, McGregor will replace Welsh

Decieving those stats. Watching the games seemed like he hardly had a touch or any influence. Given 33,16 and 19 touches, I will reserve judgement. But certainly not his dominating self.

It's encouraging that the side is winning without the profound influence of a prime mover.

The Crows should be admired for their ability to continue to find ways of winning matches. Unfortunaely though, this kind of 'attrition' victory gets more dificult to replicate as the season goes on. It would be a huge effort to knock off the Dorkers this weekend though IMO.

I agree - I have the Dorkers on my footytips.

I tipped the Crows for this game! :D

The Crows have done well with the injuries that they are carrying to grab premiership points early, no doubt the Crows will get better as the season progresses and hopefully it will be a case of discussing where in the eight they will finish as opposed to will they make the eight.

The reason that I picked the Crows over Freo is that I feel that the Crows "second string" of players are better than Fremantle's, some of the junior Crows are playing some electrifying footy at the moment and I dont get the same gist from Fremantle's side. Freo have some superstars that play for them yet I feel the Crows side is more balanced and versatile tp play the full four quarters out in winning form.
